Free attractions in Oz

Post by Jazmin » Tue Mar 21, 2017 1:08 pm

Hey guys! Help me settle a debate with my parents. They want to take up caravanning (it's about time we got rid of them  ;-) ), but dad doesn't believe in free attractions outside of the museums and gardens. Every single one I've thought of has come up with a cost, so I'm not helping myself ha ha.

So far, I've told him all about the Divers Tavern Crab Races (he liked that!!), Bega Cheese Historical House + Mindil Beach markets.

Any others you can think of off the top of his head?

Free camping and free surf fishing along the whole 90 mile beach in Victoria...... :)
I now have to note that I cannot accept owners ship, truth, quality, or veracity, of articles I may quote off the internet.

We were on a cruise to NZ and visited the war memorial there. It was around $20-00 per person. But due to Anzac day it was free for the day for OZ visitors..

There you go , just get your timing right..... :)
