Just wondering if anyone has stayed on a farm in Tasmania?
I have found one location “Kimberley Cottage Camping, Levendale, TAS” but most other farm stay properties seem to be with house accommodation.

Re: Farm camping in Tasmania
Hi TT,
This is our third trip to Tasi so we were just looking for something different.
Plenty of free camping and caravan parks in Tasi love the place.
We mainly free camp and never found that an issue.

Most of the farmstays are just B&B's by another name.
Lots of Caravan parks and most take dogs, if you are traveling with one.

This one is new since we toured Tasmania: Old Mac's Farm near Launceston get all good reports and is $10 per night.
We did not go to any farm stays, nor can I recall seeing any. We found so many free campgrounds (mostly with a pit toilet), and also camped at a few of the lakes/dams (no facilities whatsoever), and low cost at National Parks campgrounds.

Yep, same here MH, tons of great free camping in Tassie.
The only place we paid was Hobart show ground at $20-00 a night no power. That was around 6 years ago though...
