Captain,
Hopefully I have attached a photo successfully. It is of a trailered vehicle behind a bus type motor home and shows what can happen when you don't have a shield on the front of your trailer when negotiating muddy terrain.

My wife says she refuses to clean it. I told her, "I drive - you clean." First RV domestic and we haven't even started.
I've spent the last 3 days glued to the computer looking at motorhomes. Have not found 1 that ticks the box of a second separate bedroom. My overall impression is that even at 40 feet they have nowhere near the usable space of a 5th Wheeler - AND, anything half luxurious is very expensive. So far $ for $ a 5th Wheeler is ahead.

Captain,
I you get a 5th wheeler big enough, you can hide a 4 x 4 in the rear end.
