The blister on the outside of the van could be this

Alternately the internal bit could look like thisImage
The Dometic range hoods are the only ones that work anywhere like your domestic one. The duct between the hood and the fan is engineered to be large enough to not stall the airflow like the other ones with a 50 mm duct suffer from.

On my Avan Tayler, (what ever), The external light is only switched on from the outside.

If they made it switch go on from the inside, it would raise the cost of the van and no one would buy it.... :)

Thanks everybody for your advice I have been overwhelmed by your kindness!
Well here are my results!
TV is tuned in My wife did it! (she wouldnt tell me how)
Yes thanks the UFO outside is the Fan Exhaust!
No cannot find the interior switch for the outside light but it has 1 single filament and I think it might be 12v!
I have a three gang switch at inside on the right as you enter the van but the 1st switch doesnt seem to do anything the other 2 are for the lights! Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I think this may be the switch for the outside light. Possibly have a problem if the light is not working.
Or it could be a master switch. Do the other lights work if it is off. My Crusader has this master switch setup.

Thanks Sid
No all the lights work whether the witch is on or off!
The outside light only comes on from the switch on it so maybe its that way because people like me dont switch it off when i'm inside!
cheers

The first picture is a vent and may have a fan in it. Is it located behind the microwave or fridge or shower.
The otside light may not have a switch outside.
The little black button on the 12V panel is the switch for the wineguard power. you need to press it in before running your TV.

Close,
it is the external grid for the fan off the above stove kitchen ventilated awning. You will find a light and a switch probably on the left side of the exhaust range Hood. :) I reckon Peter has nailed it.

Sorry forgot to post the pictures! They are out of order!
We are not that technical!

This has to be an existing antenna port.

As usual ,J Reeves has got it wrong. It is definitely not a speaker, it is the vent from the rangehood over the stove. There are two switches on range hood, one for light, one for vent.
