Billy, if you are lucky, as you know your old address, it might show up on Google Earth.

Thanks for the help, this van was quite distinctive about 20/21ft modern design, stepup was about 4ft from rear and was about 15/18 inch. the body and roof were shiny smooth, never saw wheels but for that length would suspect it was tandem.
I just went to google earth as suggested by MP the area is being redeveloped so lost forever. if someone sees one in there travels remember me please.

cheers to all

Have a look at Crusader Caravans Manhattan stepup if it's a later model.

Hi,

If it was like the Viscount step roof look but not a Viscount perhaps it was a caravan made by a mob called Modern caravans. Their vans were called rather unsurprisingly Modern caravans.
They used to make them in Tuart Hill, Perth WA up until the early 1980's.

Every so often one will come up on gumtree etc.

The above is one of their old caravans but not with the step roof.

I believe Windsor made the same type as well in the late 1970's.

There are a few in van parks as Permanent Residences.

The red arrow points to a HWS that had been dug into a hole.

There is a high water mark part way up on the cover for the electrics.

luckily the soil is sandy. :)
