Post our new van
hello forum family.
christine and i just picked up our new Olympic Trustar caravan 20'6. We picked it up from Springvale Caravan Center. The van is a full caravan with a full ensuite. We were very happy with the van's condition and build. The van sat well and towed beautifully behind the Prado. Hope you enjoy some photos of the van.
Shane

Congrats Shane and Christine, I'm sure you will have a great time with it.

Its very similar to our Olympic Seaview which we got from Springvale Caravans almost 2 years ago, we have been very happy with it.

Congrats Shane,

We too recently bought an Olympic from Springvale Caravans. Fantastic service until we paid the deposit and signed the contract. Person handing over the van (understand he was not normally the one to do it) didn't seem to know the van and almost everything he told us we subsequently found to be wrong. We were then pushed into buying a hitch that they knew was unsuitable (and even unsafe) for our vehicle. After our first trip we asked about a few small warranty issues and were more or less told to fix them ourselves, such as paint a rusting bumper but they were happy to "have a look" at the smallest issue on condition that we brought the van in for a (premature and expensive) service. Not the kind of experience you are hoping for after spending $50,000 plus on a vehicle.

Happy with the van but would never do business with this crowd again. Hardings in Kilsyth offer far better servicing, cheaper rates, and after our experience don't have credibility issues.

Sounds like most of the caravan dealers are the same we have one north of Brisbane that starts with b and ends with rvs and are so helpful to you pay the deposit then they can't remember who you are and don't want to help at all. And yes $500 service but wait 3 months to get in

I knew them well!
Would not recommend them at all as I'm sure there are others, even interstate, that would be better.

Hi
The van looks good and only time will tell if you have any warranty issues, hopefully not.
Happy travelling. Hans.
