Tablelands Highway

Heading out to have a look at King Ash Bay and heading back to Cape Crawford, wondering if anyone has been down the Tablelands Highway back to the Barkly Hwy of late that could tell me the road conditions. Have heard various reports of deep ruts, up to a foot deep. Any reports welcome.
