Try a cruise on Darwin Harbour - drinks and nibbles and great views

agree with GerryP - Kakadu is awesome - we did the Yellow Waters cruise- (sunrise) - truly breathtaking - great guides. The area around Merle is also very good

hi all forum-ites,
We did a day trip of Litchfield Nat Park with Wallaroo Eco Tours. collected us from our caravan park at 6.30am, and delivered us back at 7.30pm after watching the sunset with champagne and prawns. the day included a trip up the Adelaide river to feed the jumping crocs (the most awesome thing I've ever seen), swimming in Wangi falls, lunch at Wangi Falls, swimming at Bules Rock Holes. Only 20 people on the trip (all the bus can hold) and the most interesting and informative guide ever. Highly recommend the day for $120 each.

Hi all,
Also just back from the warmer climes.
Loved Litchfield, Adelaide River, Darwin and Kakadu.
Also did the Yellow River cruise however found the climb (very easy) up Ubirr Rock and the ancient art just spectacular.
Am trying to convince Aussietraveller (Andrew) to retire early to become nomads much earlier than planned but no go. He worries that in 5 years when our super kicks in we won't have enough to buy another property and will end up renting with nothing other than a van to call our own.
Just have to wait 5 years and I am already counting the days. (ooops rambling off topic sorry).
Love the noorth...God's (Buddha/Mohammed and the others( irrerevent I know but have to be PC)) own country!!!
Cheerz
