Post by bobldoo » Wed Feb 13, 2013 2:12 pm

Hi folks, anybody know if there is a free camp area in or near Port Wakefield in SA. Are you allowed to stay o/nite at the free car park area at the turn off (T Junction ) to Ardrossan, off the Port Wakefield - Kadina Road ? Thanks, Bob.

bobidoo,

Don't know of the one you mentioned, but we stay at Parham - 347 in CAW 6 whenever we are around that area.
Good clean and quiet camp - good toilets and water and right on the beach (if you like seaweed) but the tide goes out about 5ks so no good for fishing or swimming.
Good for a day or two restup or just as an overnighter.
