The time is nearly here 6,2.2015 night sailing. We are staying at a park about an hour from the terminal and have a late check out . Any advice on checking in?
Thanks

You don’t have to be there 2 hours before loading time. Lots of people are and the parking is tight and the loading is slow. We found that people who arrived during the second half of the loading time, were able to just about drive straight on. Brian.

You can take fruit on board but you can’t take it off when you get too Tassie. We met many who dumped there few pieces of fruit that they planned to eat on the trip (we were day sailing) but they did not need to as there is no restriction onto ship only off the ship when travelling South

Yes, as said before, you dont want to be there too early..the jam up on the Melbourne side is ridiculous BUT.. On the other hand…As you are leaving on Friday evening you have a good chance of being caught up in Melbourne’s peak hour traffic !!
Over to you..your call.
