Re: Anderson plug
Similar, I've put cable ties through most of my A plugs and they do the job just fine.tar trekka wrote:Hi there,
A simple Loop made from a piece of Nylon Webbing attached to the Anderson Plug is great for removing the plug.
Very CHEAP also.

Re: Anderson plug
Most specialised 12V shops should have them. Battery World, or Jaycar, such places like that should have them. I bought mine from a local battery and solar supplier in town. Should not be too difficult to track down. You can buy them online as well.

Re: Anderson plug
I had an old nylon type cutting board that needed replacing, bought a set of 3, cut one up into T pieces and used that to make handles for the anderson plugs

This topic was mainly about Anderson versus 12 pin plugs, but also a second or discrete circuit.
I did say in my first post.... To provide a good reliable high-current-capable source of power from the tug to the caravan it is best done with 2 substantial wires direct from the tug battery to the high current load in the caravan and joined via an appropriately rated Anderson connector.
