Know of any hidden Gems any one

Post by aussiealltrails » Thu Jan 15, 2015 12:09 am

We are heading north to Exmouth from Perth in late April via Geraldton and Denham and returning via Canarvan and Kalbarri.
We have't been to these places before. Are they any hidden gems we should visit that aren't all that commonly known?

Cheers

Lots of 'hidden gems' right through this area. Here's one..Pilgramuna campground in Cape Range N.P.

The whole coast IS a gem, name it, it's beautiful

Take as much time as you can and see as much as you can

have a look at the relevant part of our blog (link below) and see what we saw

We travelled along there last year, as said before, the whole area is a gem. We really loved Coral Bay, though its certainly not unknown. Don't miss driving the Charles Knife road just south of Exmouth, amazing scenery, but don't try towing your van on it. If you are going to see the dolphins at Monkey Mia hang around for the 2nd or even better 3rd feeding later in the morning, much fewer people so much higher chance of actually feeding them. Enjoy yourselves, I'm envious we can't go back this year.
