Central Coast to Vic.

Post by GeeCee » Tue Jun 10, 2014 10:27 am

Considering Central Coast. NSW to Warrnambool across the GOR to Geelong and home through the Snowies. Prefer to free camp as often as possible as this is "camping". Not keen on van parks because of overcrowding. Seeking suggestions from those who travelled a possible route this way and any free camps preferably near a river.

GeeCee,

Below is the website for the SURFSIDE HOLIDAY PARK | Pertobe Rd Warrnambool 3280
we stayed at in March this year, it is a great park, plenty of room

A great free camp we found on the Murray river was the Barmah Lakes here is their website, it is 40 odd K's north of Bendigo http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/explore/parks ... ional-park
