That's a bit nasty jock, some have noted that the centre of a river quietens them down as well.

I must agree with you Frank. Not the place I would set up the Gennie.
Still waiting for a real answer to this problem. What about a small wire trellis over the Gennie then covered in say pink Bats or similar material to deaden the Gennie.
Still leave each end open for air. ?????
I have visited a Battery World shop for ideas, but alas nobody could help.

I suppose the river idea is better...most of them have handles so would be easy to use as a boat mooring anchor.

Not a good idea, what happens tho the river eco system? Most are are in a poor condition and getting worse.
