Post by rredbeak » Thu Oct 10, 2013 9:14 pm

Jaycar ZD0579 1M long strip light. extends to as long as you like by adding m,ore.Just clip in n run . With doublesided tape already fitted. just peel n stick.

Turn down the page to the $49 strip ZD0579.

I just fed mine from my original outside 12V light.

Its FULLY waterproof,SUPER BRIGHT,akmost nil amperage so it runs COOL .

Its LIKE a normal van outside light VERSUS Mr Beans version..BOOM. let there be light...

seriously its truly superbright.

Please Consider.

These are not bad. I have a strip under my kitchen bench and have purchased some to stick along my awning roller.

i only did the modification cause my factory outside light blew out.they use a 12v car parking light single pole bayonet.i went to jaycar n bought a single pole baynet with 6 leds. but it was pathetic.but i left it there.

went n bought the strip n just fed it direct from the bayonet. n away she went.

inside my van the main lights are 12v square fluros and eventho going strong im going to do the mod inside again.

at night outside the van the strip light makes the inside look dull ROFL...

This IS a serious strip light folks, wear sunnies at night.

You can get this stuff by the meter on ebay (a lot cheaper), you can cut it to your requirements at the points marked on the back (about every inch)then solder on some wires, as they don't draw much power I use telephone cable, it is light, very thin and easy to solder.

The last time I got some there was two types of brightness and watch that they come with the stick on backing, the real cheap ones did not come with the backing.

never thought of ebay.might have been a whole bunch cheaper.

with jaycar they have 2 almost identical but ones 20% DULLER so be carefull you ask for the $49 with the cat number.

Sid,
Make a good belt or pair of braces.
