No can't say I have
I can't see it being much use to the home handyman but it would be fantastic for tradies especially to in restricted spaces

Interesting technology but for the average Joe Bloggs Backyarder, probably overkill.
Nah, not a new gadget for me I don't think.....

That said, with a wedding anniversary coming up, Annee might just get one ;-)

At $92 (including case) I don't think it is for me.

Yeah, it's a bit costly, but Hey, it's a gadget and just a bit more stuff for the shed, and heaven knows, we all need a bit more stuff for the shed.

Yep, I can see it quite comfortable on the rack with my battery drill, a couple of stud finders, the digital caliper, and the heat sensor.
If I put them onto my belt all at once my pants will fall down......Do they make a self tightening belt yet... :)
I now have to note that I cannot accept owners ship, truth, quality, or veracity, of articles I may quote off the internet.

Hey, I've got a birthday coming up. If everyone on the forum will just contribute only one cent, then there will be enough to buy one for me and post it. If you make it 2 cents, then you could send one to Lance as well, seeing as he wants one so much. There would even be some money left over.

I like it but does it tell the time?

When accurately measuring the reference point on the tape body could be a bit difficult to line up especially to take the second measurement to make a cut.
