But I would wait a bit to see if these things leak easily.

Not knocking the idea, just the canvas integrity, with past experience I have had many abrasions etc. and they are not important if no air holding is involved. :)

Interesting concept, but like Paul I'd like some info on the canvas material used.
We all hear reports of canvas leaking water during showers and storms.
I guess if water can seep through canvas, so can air.

Thorough sealing and treatment may eliminate leaks, but it can be a lot of work.
Bit of a bugger waking at 3am wrapped in a canvas cocoon........ :???:

Also be interested in costings of the various models, but don't feel inclined to pass on phone and email details for the privilege.

Also not too sure what it would be like in a really strong wind. We've all seen dome tents lie down almost flat when it gets really windy. I'd like to see how this idea stands up (pun intended) to those kinds of conditions.
