Who on earth writes the info on the van tests? The little blurbs under the photos in the advertorials (I wont call them "tests"just state the bleeding obvious!
EG page 170 issue177 states the Ibis air conditioner calls the ceiling home!and other banal comments.Bring back proper road tests by people that know what they are talking about!
Thankyou

I know it is easier to whinge than to complement. The thing is feed back is usually what annoys folks and I am sick of getting banners on the forum page that I can't remove and right in the middle of the page.....And in every page I open, Including the post area.
This is the opening of the forum.

This is the posting page.
I can understand advertising being necessary but this is not a bit accross the top of the page. This is an invasion of the script and is offensive.

Hi Paul

That happened to me just now, for the first time :o - the very same advert. A banner ad should run across not down the page through the text. There was a thread running talking about unsuitable adverts a week or so ago http://candm.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php ... 07#p170207 and nimdA was talking to IT about these. This may be more relevant to that thread.

Yes it is a real pain in the proverbial. Happened early this morning to me and is still occurring. I find it difficult to read the forum text. If we are lucky it may be fixed by Tuesday

I had the exact image as posted by DT. It appeared first thing this morn. I was getting it consistently on IE, Chrome and Opera but no sign of it on Firefox.

It disappeared an hour or so ago.
