When you have Adsense (Google Adverts) they are rolling adverts supposed to be targeted to your audience, but all manner of strange things can appear.

Considering some of the ads I have had on mine 
that I have blocked but not always successfully

I downloaded Adblock (recommended by Badger I think) and down the bottom, of the page I could select the system I was running (Firefox for me) but there were a few others to choose from. Since downloading this program I have not been troubled with the ad covering the text

Been on this forum for many years. Never had a problem. Been off for a while travelling and just logged in. Every page has bloody drop down advert from Baintech or someone. Not impressed. Flaming nuisance. Easy fix for me is to stay away. Not impressed CandM. I have been one of your strongest supporters, but you lose me with this crap.

If you look at the parallel threads on this badly shaped advert, mindA has replied on a weekend. Technical staff will be onto it come Monday. Staff do not place the ads as such, they are a rolling selection of advertisements to fit the banner across the top of the page. Somehow a wrongly shaped advert has got in on the act.
Last time there was an advertisement coming up that some of us objected to, mindA replied and passed it to their IT to block that advert and it has worked.
