Smilies

Post by Old Techo » Tue Nov 07, 2017 10:27 am

I have mentioned this at least a couple of times but it gets lost in other chatter.

I have previously made the point about some ‘clickable’ things that won’t click. I suggested they will work if in the right screen position.

Examples include tick boxes in Notifications/Settings/Notification options

With smilies mine will not work unless quite close to the top of the screen. When I can’t get them close enough to the top I zoom the screen with the old method of control + and it may take 3 or 4 of these zooms to get the smilies high enough to scroll right off . Once they are up there all are clickable. If not quite high enough only some are clickable.

It is just another pesky thing we are enduring whilst IT are……. hmmmmmm…. what are they doing? Haven’t heard anything recently :(

Ah ha, thanks again OT  Some work anywhere but the LOL for one won’t unless near the top of the screen for me.

Gee mate how do you get to be that clever? Don’t say by getting older, I’m already doing that

Cheers mate.

Nothing to do with cleverness.

All to do with being really annoyed, observant and testing different things.

Persistence usually wins the day ;-)

With the smillie box at top of screen I can only load 8 smillies.

With the box at bottom of screen ALL smillies were loaded and shown in this box as text.

I just signed in on the phone and had the same trouble
Had to get the area I wanted to type in eg username and password at the top of the screen then, the remember me box then, the sign in button
All this past the full screen ad on both sides of the page
Ill have to download adblock + on the phone

Grrrrrrr

Lance,

At the bottom or middle I can select only the left 14 smilies.

Near the top I get the extra 9 on the right or 23 total.
