Download AD Block Plus (which is free) and you won't be troubled by any adds on any site.

A BIG THANK YOU NEiL You bloody beauty. I have just taken your advice re blocking any pop up windows etc, and it works 100%.
Thank you so much, as I have been experiencing huge problems for weeks, and my computer so called expert say he can fix it and that it will cost me $$$$.
I have just fixed same with the click of the mouse.
