I have had exactly the same problem as OlympicSP has but only on the iPad. Not being a computer nerd, I would not know what to do to stop this, can anyone help????

We didn't have any problem with being redirected to any other sites. We just couldn't open the site at all of the last couple of weeks.
Solved it by deleting the link to it we were using and starting from scratch, searching for the site on google, opening it, and creating a brand new link.
Works fine now :)

OGF, run a Malware cleaner programme. There have probably been suggestions as to which ones members prefer on the forum. I used Malwarebytes last time I had something nasty on the laptop. With previous computers, I used to download Adaware by Lavasoft and run it weekly. They are free to download.
