I think that the swap and sale section should be limited to caravaning and camping and associated equipment.

I don't have a problem with members selling any items.

How do you define 'associated equipment" ? Is kayak or folding bike associated equipment?

Hi Jock and others. The Wanted/Swap forum has carried this introduction: See if anyone's got what you want, or wants what you've got! Please note this is for member personal use only. Advertising or promotion deemed commercial is not permitted.

This to me states the right for any member to post a notice advising other members of personal goods for sale. I agree it is not as obvious in the forum title so I have amended the ttle to: Wanted - For Sale - Swap.

Cheers.

For sale, humble pie didn't mean to cause a drama. Perhaps we should have a specific for sale area. Would be good and take the pressure of my thoughtless comment.!!!!!!

To quote myself:- although this comment was specific to this "For Sale" sub-forum I remind you all that commercial advertising is also not permitted by means of links within posts or a member's signature.

Please alert me by PM to any instances of perceived non-compliance.

Cheers
