G'day Hawkie. :)

Don't know about bananas and wrong colour plates, but I can remember back in the early 80s when I did a load of structural steel to a city building site in Melbum.
Got to the site at 8.00am and there was a lock on the gates, guy came over to the truck and said no deliveries for 48 hours mate.
I said what's the problem, reply was, the blokes walked off the job at 7.30am when one of them went to the toilet block and noticed that some idiot had put new toilet rolls in with floral patterns on it so they put a 48 hour ban on the site.  Bet he wouldn't have complained if he had the trots.

Hi Old Techo,
Love your comments. You are certainly one that is very hard to out do or out say.
Thanks for all your contributions.

I can log onto the site and the forum but cannot get access to download the DVD covers. Problem has been reported twice to C&M who advise that many of their websites are experiencing difficulties and problem will be fixed later today or tomorrow

Is anyone else having this problem?

Strange, that's what they told me yesterday. A better option seems to be letting subscription lapse and buy mags from newsagent

I'm just back from driving around the block and have 5 DVDs to look at and file away for future reference.
However, I am being denied access to downloading them. Surely they or I don't constitute a threat to national security.
I hope you are not outsourcing the maintenance of the web site to India, Pakistan or the Philippines!

Open your C&M Magazine and where editors and reporters are listed find the email address like

[email protected] and complain about trying to download DVD covers. I did this a while ago ago and Bec Fist, editorial assistant, sent me the pdf files for the covers I required. Will shortly be doing the same thing for current edition of Cand M if the problem is not solved

Safe travels

Hey guys,
In case no one else has reported it ... Over the last week, several attempts at adding a post or a reply has crashed - usually after about 4 mins typing.
Since I can no longer remember what I typed 4 mins ago, I lost my message.
Is there an explanation?
Oops! 3mins 30 secs - better finish ....
