Not a lot of differences in Hot water units, but I like the suburban or the smaller variety of Truma.The Truma does not have issues with the replacement of any thing like a sacrificial anode, which may need to be considered.
Everything to do with longevity of a HWS is usually related to its installation and the correct Pressure reducing valves and their installation.
Also the correct valve for the supply of water from mains supply and the fitting of the pump and the quality of the fittings etc.
I like the John guest fittings for a better job, but they cost a bit more initially.
Stay away from little known brands for a self installation.
Others may disagree of course......
