2001 100 Series 4.2TD cruiser done about 360K.
With previous van at 2.5T and current van at 2T get 18 to 18.5 L/100Km towing at around 95 Km/h and without van, cruise control set at speed limit on highways, drops to between 11.5 and 12 L/100 Km.

My Prado/van 5 tonne rig gets nearly 7 Km/Lt or twice as good.

What's goin on young fella? Have you got a hole in your fuel tank?

By the way, my spreadsheet works in Km/Lt, MPG or Lt/100 Km. I know some from the old school prefer KPL as a direct replacement for MPG. I use it but never liked Lt/100 Km.

OK smarty pants :)

I thought you meant a Volvo towing a caravan.

I either didn't know or just forgot you had a bus. These days I'm having trouble distinguishing between 'didn't know' and 'forgot'

Gday...

2006 Land Rover Discovery 3 2.7TDV6 diesel towing a 2,700Kg van; full-time traveller.

The Landy is towing at least 80% of the time ... this is the recorded fuel consumption for the past six years.
