About to start looking to purchase of some towing mirrors and would like some feedback from other 200 series owners re the mirrors they chose and if they are happy with their choice.

G'day Allan
I'm an Advocate for Clearviews. The convenience of permanent mount without fear of damage from mirrors blowing about or paint damage from straps does it for me. I had them on my 100 series, I sold them and funded the new ones for the 200 series.
I'm considering updated the vehicle currently - the next 200 will have them fitted at the time the windows are tinted as I did with this one - one of the first accessories I fitted.
I love em - others hate em - cost ($795!), vehicle width compliance (ADR approved),dumbo, taxi with the doors open etc etc. - envy I reckon. ;-)
I don't care about the naysayers, I'll keep using em and singing their praises

They maintain a very informative website with maintenance advice together with pre-loved mirrors for sale

good luck with your choice
cheers

Hi Allan
Spend the money and buy some clearview mirrors, fit then once and there on the vehicle, no arguments they are the best. On my 3rd set on 200 series cruiser never looked back once you have then.
Cheers

Hi rip, here is a fix for that.

You picked on the problem that I faced as well. :)

Thanks guys for your good advice. Always appreciate and value your opinion JDOG and thanks for the link, me being lazy did not do a search and probably should have.

Currently I am staying in the Coconut Resort in Cairns (no van) and there are lots of 200 series here with vans so will take a walk around tomorrow to see if I can talk to someone who has these clear views and have a closer look. They might give me some good oil on some other stuff as well.

Yes very important that they fit between the garage door opening posts but my carport is quite wide so no problem there. Thanks too for this ripper tip RIP, it’s worth its weight in gold and see I am just down the road from your HQ at the moment.
I know a bloke who built a huge bathroom cabinet fit for a king and queen out in his garage but when he tried to install it the bloody thing would not fit through any of the doorways. He had to virtually destroy the thing by pulling it all apart and then reassemble the big mess that was left but inside his bathroom this time.
