Towing in S mode or D Mazda BT-50

G'day all
Have a Mazda Bt-50 2016 When towing the van do you tow is S mode or D
very confused and that's not hard for me Heard so many different points of view
Any comments greatly appreciated

What does the vehicle manual say?

Tow in sports mode as that's the recommended gear by Mazda.The gear box will get up to speed quickly and the gears won't labour and less heat

Hi there,

Plenty of info re Maxda BT50 & Ford Ranger on the net.

Just "Google" BT 50 Transmission Problems &/or Ford Ranger Transmissiom Problems.

A Mate has had his BT 50 Transmission replaced at 17,000 kms & is not very happy.
