This one eyed toyota owner gave all the current utes a good wrap on this forum recently. If I wanted a ute it would be an Isuzu or mazda BT50. So pull ya head in.

Post Re: ford ranger towvehicle2013/3014
Recently traded from a 2011 200 series cruiser to a 2013 bt50,the reason for the change was due to us selling our 23' Crusader Manhattan 3105kg fully loaded to a Ultima 30'fifth wheeler 3140kg fully loaded. The 200 averaged 18.5 LPH over 11013 klm's last year towing and not. We have only done around 500 klm's towing the fiver ( work commitments ) but we have averaged 16.3 LPH not bad I say. Yes the bt is not as powerful but tows the fiver with ease. You can't complain about the value for money in the Mazda compared to the Toyota either. When I test drove the BT it had a tow bar fitted so I was allowed to hook up the Crusader for a realistic comparison ( the fiver was still on order ). I towed the set up around the south of Adelaide including Willunga hill that part of the test sold me. I also tested the Ranger but it was 8k more. Regards Happy BT50 owner.

A guy I work with tows a 3.5ton horse float, he is a Ford man through and through, he has just purchased a Colorado, he is now trying to find a way to hide the Holden badges.
