Post Looking for a good caravan park
Hello forum family I hope you can help me. My wife and I are thinking of travelling north of nsw.we are thinking of going between port Macquarie and coffs harbour.i am looking for a good caravan park to stay for a week or so. Can anyone suggest a caravan park that is on the beach and has good surf fishing? Thanks Shane

I like the one at Crescent Heads. It is on the mouth of the river and offers surf fishing and river fishing.

Clean, neat and relatively cheap...Aukaka at Nambucca...not on the beach, on the river, but river and beach fishing plus a great boardwalk from the park right to the entrance. Supermarket next door.

Shane, try Moonee beach just north of Coffs Harbour (7 Kim's) It has everything, beach fishing, surfing , nice walks and a supermarket down the road. You could try Spec Island too!!!!!!!!

G'day Shane,
anytime you're looking for caravan park info, you can try this site

http://home.vicnet.net.au/~badger04/

it is run by a slightly dodgy bloke who frequents this forum and others, but he doesn't do too bad a job of it. :D

You'll notice he has also put a tribute to Alan41 on his home page, a great thing to do from one mate to another.

Frank

Hi Shane.
We have stayed at North Beach Caravan Park at Mylstrom which backs on to the Pacific Ocean and is a 400m walk to the Bellinger River. We were catching Taylor off the beach last time we were there
Also very reasonable rates. Try to Google it and have a look at Caravanparkphotos.com.au to see some pics.
