The contents page shows an article on page 44 as being Tibooburra QLD. Last time I looked Tibooburra was in NSW. The author Jon Cleary always had it as the place unpopular cops were sent to.

At least the article placed Tibooburra in NSW

Sorry about that, Greg and Sue... unfortunately glitches like this sometimes creep in.
Next time I'm in Qld, I definitely won't be trying to find Tibooburra...

Marg,

Another issue with #214.

Just purchased it from the local newsagent and started to enjoy watching it. The first segment was fine. Went to the first ad break, listened to Gil talk about Dometic, then Ron Moon and Cooper tyres, then the screen went blank and a message came up, "THE VIDEO CANNOT BE PLAYED".

What do I do about it to get one that works fine.

Hi Benny,

I'm sorry you've had trouble. I'll give them a heads-up at the mag and ask for this to be referred on to the team that creates the DVD, and see what the procedure is with a faulty DVD.

Cheers
Marg

Thanks Marg for your swift reply.

How good to deal with someone who answers your concerns and then sets about rectifying the problem.

Thanks

Here you go, Benny.

Any queries re the mag or DVD should go directly to this email address as the first point of contact:

[email protected]

The matter will either be dealt with from there or referred on to subs if necessary to rectify.

Keep me in the loop on this one.

Marg,

Thanks for that address.

Sent an email and had a reply within 5 minutes from Jonathan.

Sending me a replacement copy out in the mail today. Can't ask for better service than that.

Thanks for your help.

For a bit of a change the Magazine actually has some more interesting subjects relating to caravans rather than just being a travel magazine. eg. Fridge comparison, water filters (although some types have been left out) and Low cost essentials. There are others that I haven't read yet but we need more caravan etc. items. Things like Gizmos and Gadgets are always good to know about.
I sent in an update of an article on van/5th wheeler steps in July 2014 and had many advices back saying it was received but absolutely no feedback - even if told to go away. Same response from phoning the relevant area therefore it looks like travel stories must be tops - Eh!
