scammers are out there
I am amazed to see advertising on this webiste that is possibly fraudulently based!! If I had won $3000.00 worth of travel to USA, I would have entered a competition, not being asked to ring a number and click on a webpage to confirm who I am. I am trying very hard to keep this email polite, but in this day and age of identity theft, monetary theft, the fact that this caravan & motorhome website actually allows this type of advertising leaves me stunned!! Please, please be very careful when dealing with this type of advertising on your computer, it only takes one click for ALL your personal and private information being accessed by those that don't care that they will take your life long savings and leave you with nothing in this world. If it seems too good to be true, then it is. My other favourite motto comes from my dearly beloved Mother, 'IF IN DOUBT, DON'T' thank you and if I can keep someone from clicking on this bogus website, then I have achieved something today. Best regards to all and I hope to see you on the road one day soon.

Re: scammers are out there
Are you referring to the "One new item - click here" advertisement Norma? This has been discussed before here http://www.candm.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=16849&hilit=+message+scam&p=174126#p174126. They did seem to halt it for a while, but it has been the most shown advertisement for a few weeks now. I know of another website who has also failed to be able to block the same for the long term; after a few weeks it came back.

Yes it seems there are so many out there in cyber space who want to get at you for one reason or another. Thanks for your friendly reminder, I do not enter into anything so called lotteries or freebies on-line at all. Fbook is notorious for these scammers, e.g. since when have Mercedes Benz handed free cars because you press the like the button etc.

I don't use an ad blocker, but easy not to click on ads unless we really want to.
