We are planning our first big retirement trip from Adelaide to Darwin, Perth & back to Adelaide, starting in July this year
. We have been purchasing your magazine since we decided to do this trip and have found it very informative with articles about vans, locatons & areas of interests.We have of course been following Freds travels with great interest as he has travelled up through Coober Pedy, on to Darwin and down the west coast and we eagerly await each months mag to see what we will encounter on our trip. We are collecting the DVD's to take with us so we can reveiw them prior to passing through the areas covered to ensure we get the most out of our trip.
Last week whilst on the road in the suburb of Parafield in Adelaide I saw a Sunland Patriot van being towed by a Toyota Landcruiser and said to my wife that it was the same sort of rig as used by Fred Wright from Caravan & Motorhome magazine, as we passed she said it was Fred driving, can you cofirm this? was he in Adelaide? If it was him it would have been great (but quite impossible on a busy three lane road) to have been able to pull him over and have a chat.
