Forgot to add that I redesigned the Van boot.
Screwed in 2 x 15 mil thick boards right across back wall, all attachments etc etc are held on with Tool Clips.
If I sell the Van,all I have to do is take out 8 screws & refit boards in new Van.

Everything has its place & easy to find.
Would like to post a pic, but have given up working out how to upload !!!

Best thing I ever did was install a dishwasher.

Cost me a fortune :shock: and finished up having to marry her. :rolleyes: :mrgreen:

Yep my old dishwasher would not work anymore so I had to get a new one ...

The Devorce cost me a fortune as well... :D

Our van upgrades to a 1971 Coronet 19’6 tandem
Removed external cladding
Removed all internal cupboards and lining
(Left with Chassis, floor and timber frame)
Repaired / replaced any suspect steel frame
Repaired / replaced all rotted timber in frames
Modified front and rear floor and frame
(More modern square look, increased floor by 400mm front and rear
retained original overall length)
Fabricated and fitted new A frame running back to spring hangers
Installed H/D lino tiles to floor
Installed new lining and ceiling
Made new cupboards (all Red Cedar)
Made new doors (red cedar)
Bottom doors have cedar infill top opaque plastic
New extendable table
Flip up extension to sink cupboard
Fiberglass shower alcove with flexible shower hose mixer tap
Enamel hand basin
Thetford toilet
Gas electric hot water to bathroom and kitchen
Towel rails and large mirror
Queen lift up posture slat bed
Innerspring mattress
Waeco HDC161 two door fridge
3 burner cooktop w 12 volt rangehhood
Stainless steel sink
Micro wave above fridge
Washing machine stored under bed
External BBQ
Heron Q air conditioner
Kenwood radio / CD
LCD 20” TV/DVD (can be watched from bed , lounge or moved
outside)
Exhaust fan/hatch over shower
Sirroco fans X2
Four seasons hatches X2
Breakaway brakes
Redarc 1215 BMS
Solar panels 120w X4 on roof
!2 Volt power points inside and out
240 volt power inside and out
All 12 volt wiring soldered and shrink wrapped
All 12 volt wiring tinned (no corrosion)
12 volt wiring running under van in metal flexible conduit
Reversing camera
Most lights LED inside and out including annexe and offside light
Running lights all LED (including 2 sets stop tail indicater one high one low)
LED reversing lights
All water pipes under van in plastic flexible conduit
