Why?
How is that going to clamp to a battery?
What would you use that for?

Frank... you plug it into the van's anderson plug, then attach your solar panel, which has battery clamps fitted, to the the posts on the gizmo. Duh!

Simples really ;-)

Frank,
I'm with you; I'm also a "duh".
A proper explanation in the first post would have prevented all this unnecessary chatter.

Hi Gerry,

You are "Quite Correct".

All the 12 Volt Connections on my Caravan are fitted with "Anderson Plugs" & this "Adapter" allows me to connect "Devices With Battery Clamps" to my 12 Volts System.

I see "No Point" in removing "Battery Clamps" from Chargers, Portable Solar Panels Etc, when there is no need to.

Like you said, "SIMPLES"

And by the way, "Good Anderson Plug Knock Offs" are available on Ebay for LESS than $1-50 EACH, if you buy in "Packs Of 10 or 20".

I bought 20 a few months ago for LESS than $25-00 DELIVERED by Aust Post.

My "Duh" comment was intended as tongue-in-cheek by the way. No disrespect intended. Well not to anyone else anyway. ;-)

I got those Anderson "like" plus as well and put them on all my connections and made one with Anderson plug and alligator clips on the other side in case I needed to connect the panels pr that ever to the battery

I tried putting Anderson plugs on my hose to get an unrestricted flow but all it did was turn a single flow into a double flow with less pressure.
