Tressies Caravan Park.

Post by Legendts » Tue Oct 13, 2015 7:44 pm

This park near Wave Rock, Hyden WA would have to be the cleanest, best run park (by owners Laurel & Merv) we have ever stayed in. Sites are big and most times can be drive through if required. Amenities are the cleanest you will find anywhere in the country. Should you visit there spend $3 each to see Mervs museum dating from 1860 through to 1960 and includes working gramophones from that period and a collection of 78 records numbering around 5,600. He will even let you pick a couple out and play them for you. Do yourself a favour and stay nowhere else if in the area. Country hospitality by country people who know what a caravanner wants because they have been caravanners.

Thanks Legendts, good info alright.
I now have to note that I cannot accept owners ship, truth, quality, or veracity, of articles I may quote off the internet.

As I have posted on another forum, Tressies is in the town of Karlgarin, around 20 kilometres from Wave Rock. Quite different to the Wave Rock Caravan Park which is right at the Rock.

We stayed at Tressies a couple of years ago. Found it much better for us than the caravan park at Wave Rock and Merv's Museum has a huge volume of artefacts. Merv has specialised in a few particular items rather than a smattering of everything

Safe travels
