 A place to stay Hi all. Our son in law has been posted to Simpson barracks in Victoria, does any body know of a good place to stay near the barracks ? Thanks in advance Wayne & Di.

I know I will get shot down in flames but if you are wanting something close to Watsonia the the Big 4 at Elizabeth Street Coburg would possibly be the one but but I am unsure as to what their max size is
If my grey matter is any good Watsonia use to be a communication training base

Re: A place to stay Simpson Barracks is an Army facility and is currently home to a large number of units. It has excellent on-base facilities and is located in the suburb of Yallambie in Melbourne.

A small part taken direct from their web site so my inference is that it would be full of permanents
