Post Coleman adaptor Hose - Hot water v Heater
Hi all

Does anyone know if there would be anything prohibiting or limiting the use of a Coleman Adaptor hose
http://www.caravansplus.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=8651&osCsid;=bbfca6d3810518a8ec2221b553cda66b

for the Hot water service
http://www.caravansplus.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=8647&osCsid;=bbfca6d3810518a8ec2221b553cda66b

on the Coleman Heater
http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemancom/detail.asp?product_id=5053A751&categoryid;=3000&brand;=

Have the heater in the shed that isn't being used and think it might be okay for use in the annex.

The fitting is obviously the same on both as they both use the 1kg bottle.

Any ideas?

Hi,

As long as the fittings on both ends fit and are the same, then I cant see an issue at all. The hose is only subjected to bottle pressure and shouldn't be anywhere near the heat, so I would say go for it.

Just to be safe, use a bit of soapy water at the appliance end to make sure there are no leaks when you first connect it up.

Cheers
Gerry

Can't see a problem as it is actually made to fit. How do you find the heater? Would it be sufficient to warm the annex area as I am thinking of buying one and I have the water heater and hose you are talking about.

Hi CAC

Have hardly used this heater since having the van so I can't advise - they do throw a good heat though. Shouldn't be a problem, fans blows heat out so i think it should accomodate annex well

regards
