Sorry from Fix My Van

Post by One Happy Camper » Fri Nov 30, 2012 6:46 pm

Hello everyone, In Decembers issue of the wanderer we placed a third page ad with a 500 letter editorial discussing the release of our new Fix My Van I Phone application named Happy Camper. Unfortunately we have missed that deadline as we have been busy fine tuning some of the awesome features on it. The app is now due to be released around the 7th of December. If you would like us to email you a link to the app when it is released then just flick us a private message with your email address attached. We are so sorry for this inconvenience.

Regards Team Fixmyvan

G'day Team Fixmyvan,

Have you joined the forum to offer free advise, or to drum up business?

If you are here to offer free advise then welcome to the forum.

If you are only here to drum up some business, then don't slam the door when leaving!!

Cheers,

PeterM.

This is in the industry section, so they can be here, but I agree that at least they should give a bit more info to caravaners, they have seen fit to advertise in "The Wanderer" which is the CMCA magazine, where we as caravaners are treated as second class members, even IF we pay membership fees.
I wonder if "Fixmyvan' are going to advertise in the CandM mag or just use the forum for free advertising?

I alerted the magazine editor to the original post a few days ago and then promptly deleted it. Discussions followed and I set conditions for the watered down post you now see. The full advert will appear in the next edition of our magazine. The Happy Camper application is a free service that can be downloaded.

This thread is monitored and permitted in its present form whilst the conditions are met.

Cheers

Hello everyone

We are so sorry if we have offended anyone. Our intention was only to inform you about the delay in the iphone app. We have also advised NimdA to remove this whole thread if she wishes to. However we love everyone's feedback has it was designed for you. Yes it is a business, yes it makes money but we aren't making money off you guy's it free to you. we are trying to make your life easier. We have also placed 2 x full page ad in the C&M mag.
