Post Is there a listing for caravan hire businesses?
We have decided that at this point we will not buy our own van and continue to hire from places closer to our final destination/area. So we drive the long distances without having to pull a van and thus save time and petrol.
Although I have [succesfully] looked around and found hire places using Google as a search tool, there must be an easier way to find/compare businesses that hire out caravans?
Is there an industry body or website which lists registered caravan hire businesses in the various States?

Odzi.
If you go to this site it lists a few van hire companies with modern vans.
http://www.ozparks.com.au/pages/links.php About half way down the page.
The one listed for Melbourne is U-Tow Caravan Hire in Somerville.
Cheers,
ozjohn.

Thanks for making a start on this :)
We have used Murray River Carvan Hire before. They were superb.

Yep! Nice people too.
They’re also listed on the same website.

Albury / Wodonga area try Albury Wodonga RV world. All late model vans & motorhomes and is run by Matt Sears, a great bloke with a great crew behind him. We have rented from him for the last 2 years & are hoping to buy from him next year. Web site www.awrvworld.com.au. Have no connection with this company just very happy clients. Regards Neville.

Now why didn’t I think of that? Yellow Pages on the internet gives you all sorts of searching ways.
Thanks for the tip/reminder TA.
