Have they told you about doing the Site Safety Course online from their website and then if you pass you get issued a pass that is good for all their sites? It will be needed prior to commencing work with them. Heard that bit of information on the radio as we were crossing the Eyre Peninsula back in August.
They are a large Canadian Company, I believe, and they run a lot of the grain silos on the E.P. and Y.P. This sort of work at the silos can get very hot and dusty in the summer if you are working outside. ‘Pelbo’ on the Caravanners Forum did some work for them last year. He may have more info. Not sure if he is on this Forum as well.
cheers, 8-)

Oh joy, a bunker crew. It’s super hot, dusty and it never ends according to the blokes hubby (mechanic) talks with at work. The grain gets into everything, eyes, nose, hair, in your clothes. If you’re really lucky you’ll be struggling with 40ft tarps in the hot wind or scrambling like madmen trying to cover them up in the rain.
Pay is good but many hate it.

You can always chuck it in if it doesn’t suit you after a while. Give it a go and see, you never know until you try.
