Fitting a Tekonsha P3 in a Landcruiser 200

Post by JFM » Mon Nov 08, 2010 10:10 am

Hi. A Tekonsha P3 seems to be a highly regarded brake controller. I've just bought a Landcruiser 200 but can't figure out where I would have it fitted. Could you give me some feedback on the best spot or where other people have them fitted. Thanks in anticipation.

The ashtray area is probably the best. All the wiring is hidden and you are nowhere near the knee airbag area.

I have fitted a few to the righthand side of the knee airbag but it is a bit tricky to run the wiring loom in a safe place so that it will not foul the airbag.

Hi Dunaruna. I hadn't thought of the ashtray. I went out and had look, pulled out the ashtray - great idea. Many thanks
