Quite a few motorhomes on the Winnabago forum have discussed this at length but can't remember the reason but it is an issue. I think it was related to supplied current from the generator.

What do you mean by it doesn't work at all? Need details.

How is the generator connected to the washer? Presumably via the regular 15 amp external socket.

Does another appliance (toaster, light, electric jug) work from the same power-point as the washer?

Does the washer work when plugged directly into the generator via an extension cable?

In other words is there some issue with the vehicle environment.

That Honda should easily run any sized washer.
