Re: Dometic skylight hatch..POS

Update: I fitted 2 new rams but my Dometic hatch had other ways to give me grief.. The other week at night at 1am when out bush when I went to close my Dometic hatch on my off road van two of the hinges snapped off  In the morning after removing the last hinge pin I found the last hinge cracked half way through  Now the hinges are part of the hatch surround and not a separate item which would have made them easy to replace ...
Another totally stupid idea from Dometic..
So with many miles to travel the next day I super glued the broken hinges onto the roof of my van to keep the hatch shut when towing. This garbage hatch will never be opened again and will just be a skylight from now on.
If I could fill the huge hole in the roof I would fit a 4 seasons hatch like my old van which NEVER gave me any problems..
Nice one Dometic
Let the wind blow free
Where ever you my be..
