Hi Rob and Marg
We have been on the road for nearly 5 months also exploring what this beautiful country has to offer and we wish you both a safe and happy journey and maybe we might cross paths on this a trip of a life time.

Hi Rob and Marg,
Thoroughly enjoyed your DVD and looking forward to the rest. We have just received our long awaited van and now are unable to go away until September, so are very envious of you both. We are complete newbies to caravaning, although we did camping trips 30 years ago with the kids. We have one question for you. Which tow bar are you using? On the DVD you start with a Hayman Reece and then seem to change to a TJM.
Keep enjoying your travels and travel safely.
Cheers for now Gail & Bob

G'Day Gail & Bob,
Thanks for your comments. I'm sure when you start the trip you'll enjoy it as much as we are now doing.
re the question on the tow hitch. Well spotted. It basically is a continuity thing with production times. The filming of some of the products at TJM were done before we picked up the van, and they used their standard towing assembly. When we set up the car for towing, we were, & still are, using the HR system.

Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob and Marg

Well done on the first DVD, very professional and informative as well as entertaining, It's great to see they are about real people out there really doing it, and showing people who actually own/manage the parks/attractions along the way.

Safe Happy travels, looking forward to next one.

We believe we were staying at the Rollingstone (QLD) caravan park at the same time as you guys, about a month ago. We saw the van, and came over a couple of times to say hi but each time you weren't "home". That is if it was indeed you....

Yes, that would have been us, Chris! What a shame we weren't there when you called around.
We like Rollingstone... a very friendly park!

Oh well, you know what the van looks like... if you catch up with us again on the road, call in!

We will absolutely say g'day if we see you again. But we are now back home (in the Barossa Valley, SA) for a bit, continuing house renovations. Our next trip will probably be over to the Eyre Peninsular in a month or so, and if you happen to be in this region, yell out!

I, too, popped over and said hello. We were at Hawks Nest at the time. Had a great chat with Rob, a really nice guy, Marg was nowhere to be seen, but every time they drove out of the park, we got a big wave from both Rob and Marg as they went past our van.

The dvd is absolutely fantastic, as is the mag. Looking forward to the next one.

Congratulations on the 1st DVD. We enjoyed it immensely and will now look to subscribe so we can continue to follow your journey.
It would be nice if perhaps you could mention the time of year that you are visiting each area and maybe if cost are involved at the attractions you are visiting to assist in our planning of future trips.
As fellow mad fishing yakkers are all ears for all the secret spots I`m sure you are going to share
