Just a tip then - don't leave it plugged into the 12 volt socket when travelling. I think that was my problem

This is a 2.5mm but if it is a 2.1mm they have them too!

Our adaptor failed after about six months. Kogan sent a new one free of charge immediately. It has survived eighteen months and still going strong. Prices have come down a lot since we bought ours. Very happy with picture but sound not brilliant. One day we will work out how to run the sound through the stereo unit in the van.

Yes it is a good deal. We paid around $300 for a similar TV from Harvey Normal. But anything goes wrong replaced instead of being sent away to be fixed. We considered that a good deal. Also we were in Mackay at the time so could not organise a place to have TV ex Ebay delivered.
