When we got ours, we got 2 quotes, CIL and RACQ. RACQ was quite a bit cheaper, but can't remember the figures.
I guess you only find out how good your insurance is when it comes time to claim on it.

We are with AAMI as all our policies are with them. Even when we got the new van the policy only went up about $50.
