Came across Nullabor in last 3 days

Norseman 129.9

Cocklebiddy 1.68 and heaps of trucks as its the halfway stop

Madura $164.9

Eucla $1.54 Had to fill up there

Got through to Ceduna where its $124.9

535km = 104.75l So got 5.1 kpl with 2850kg behind and a side wind all the way from Norseman.

Have had bad side winds since Kalgoorlie thru Esperance and back to Norseman and across and consequently have scuffed the inside of one and the outside of the other back tyre trying to keep the rig into the wind.
The steering wheel which usually sits straight was between one and two oclock on one stint Guess thats what did it.

Bunch of us from our 4WD Club did the Canning Stock Route last year.

$3.20 a litre for diesel at the community half way down. Petrol was the same price.

It would be an amazing day indeed when I paid $3.20 per litre for deisel. lol I would run the vehicle out of fuel and then plant plants around making a garden ornament. I just wouldnt pay it no matter what, sounds like to me a good place to avoid or get a 200litre fuel tank.

That price on the Canning is a total ripoff IMHO. I say that with some degree of authority as I manage a community store just 70kms west of Surveyor General's Corner and my diesel is $2.00/litre. I am only too aware of transport costs but that manager is out of this world. Admittedly we are among the cheaper outlets in the Lands, with Warakurna Roadhouse at Giles charging, I am reliably informed, $2.25/litre.
