Hi Sally,

i am glad that you you have your electrics worked out i remember many years ago i was escorting an electrician through a military base and he was doing some work he went to cut this cable that he thought was dead but was really live it gave him a hell of a bolt as he said if he was not using the correct tools he would be pushing up daisies and from that day on if it can bit you and you cannot see it leave for experts.

Any way enjoy your R & R on NSW north coast

Cheers

sounds like a great idea Sal. i rang my electrician about it to. he was actually a bit insulted with me for asking but anyway he said it was all compliant and he will come out and do the complaince test and cert next week.
like squizzy says its better to be safe then sorry.
But you wont have a problem Lance.
Sal enjoy your RnR

Got the compliance cert.
Elec said he is installing hundreds of these things but thinks there is a new unit coming out that can do showers as well. Has anyone heard about this?

G,day all
My 2 bobs worth on the original post nearly every second van is a Jayco heritage or sterling so they are pretty popular and wouldnt sell that many if they were crook .
Only time I heard a negitive was from a couple who were selling their 8mth old heritage because they ordered it with a east west bed ,I think from memory they were going to order the exact same van but with the island bed .
You hear from some people that they are built to a price but thats from people who dont actually own 1 so just ignore that .
Happy travels Bob

i have a jayco with two tanks . i built a holding tank just behind the rear water tank and all goes through it . a hose goes to out side of the van with a screw cap witch means i can pull up any where shower or wash up and empty later works for me

Post Jayco Caravan!
Hi folks
I did not buy a new Jayco caravan and not from Jayco, but the service from Jayco was still very good!
I am happy with the way it is built and the way it tows.
I gave it a burst up to 115km/hr, just to see how it behaves, still steady as a rock.
Won't drive like that as the fuel consumption would be a bit high for a long run!!!

The only Problem with it is my weekends are only 3 days!

Looking forward to the 7 day weekends!!!!

just be careful if you buy it fom page bros, vey nice to begin with, once you need service after that they are discraceful, p.s make sure if you leave you van in their capable hands you remove absolutely anything that is of value and also if it isnt bolted down and chained up...... learn from my mistake...

Post Jayco 24.75-2
Lucky B,
We pick up our new 24.75-2 on Tuesday, this is our 5th Jayco, 2 x poptops, 1 x 20' & last one was a 23.72-3. We have had no major problems with any of them & if we did we would not being buying another one.
I am sure you will enjoy this layout as it has so much room & will enjoy the life style. All we have to do now is to win lotto so we can travel more often & not worry about having to get up & go to work!!
All the best & keep counting down the days until it arrives like we have been doing for the last couple of months, Phil & Lyn.
PS. What did you order with the van????
