We too just back after 16580 trip over 97 days around part of oz.
Average price 22c per km with highest $1.80 and lowest $1.12, average $1.41
Fuel cost $3577 and 2007 Prado D4D used 2562 litres to return 15.5 litres per 100 km or 18.4 MPG
Daily cost of trip , food , entertainment etc with fuel $63
Accomodation all in parks $2133 at average $22 p n
Trip was too rushed but most enjoyable.
